Immunization Agenda 2030

Immunization Agenda 2030, known by the initials IA2030, is a global vision and strategy for vaccines and immunization for the decade 2021 to 2030, endorsed by the World Health Assembly on 1 April 2020. Led by the World Health Organization together with UNICEF, Gavi the Vaccine Alliance and other global health partners, the strategy positions immunization both as a fundamental contributor to health and as an investment in a healthier, safer and more prosperous world, aiming to halve the number of children who receive no vaccines at all, introduce five hundred new or under-used vaccines in low and middle income countries, and reach ninety percent coverage for key life-saving vaccines. IA2030 is meant to align the activities of governments, regional bodies, international agencies, health workers, vaccine manufacturers and civil society toward these goals.
