Vitamin Angels is a public health nonprofit founded in 1994 that addresses malnutrition by improving maternal and child nutrition in underserved communities worldwide, and has become one of the largest global providers of vitamin A supplementation and deworming treatment. Following World Health Organization recommendations that children aged 6 to 59 months in areas of moderate to severe vitamin A deficiency receive supplementation, the organization reached more than 70 million at-risk pregnant women and children annually across 65 countries as of 2022, providing in-kind donations alongside technical assistance and training to program partners.
