Ethiopia Seqota Declaration

The Seqota Declaration is a high-level commitment by the government of Ethiopia, launched in Addis Ababa in July 2015, to end stunting in children under two years old by 2030, building on and accelerating the country's existing National Nutrition Program. Its fifteen-year roadmap runs through three phases, an Innovation phase from 2016 to 2020, an Expansion phase from 2021 to 2025, and a Scale-Up phase from 2026 to 2030, aiming to save more than 7.8 million children from stunting, and had expanded from 240 to 700 target districts by January 2024.
