World Tuberculosis Day

Tuberculosis Control Program

World Tuberculosis Day, observed on 24 March each year, builds public awareness of the global tuberculosis epidemic and the efforts underway to eliminate the disease. First proposed in 1982 by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, it is now coordinated by the Stop TB Partnership, whose secretariat sits within the World Health Organization in Geneva, with annual campaigns built around different themes addressing TB prevention, treatment and control.

Delivers Practice

Entity-backed identity for the program-kind enum value this public health program already carries, resolved to a health practice by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The program-kind fact itself stays on the program unchanged.
