Malaria No More

A nonprofit organization founded in December 2006 by media executive Peter Chernin and philanthropist Raymond G. Chambers, seeking to end malaria deaths within a generation. Malaria No More was launched at a White House event introducing the United States President's Malaria Initiative, and it works to mobilize political commitment, funding and innovation against the disease, maintaining offices in the United States alongside affiliates in India, Japan and the United Kingdom. The organization gained broader public recognition through its participation in American Idol's Idol Gives Back charity campaigns beginning in 2008, and its UK affiliate has continued to make the economic case for malaria elimination, including a 2024 World Economic Forum report arguing that a 90 percent reduction in malaria by 2030 could substantially increase Africa's gross domestic product.
