TB Alliance is a not-for-profit product development partnership, established in February 2000, dedicated to the discovery and development of new, faster-acting and affordable tuberculosis medicines. It was created to fill a gap left by the tuberculosis drug market's insufficient financial incentives for broad pharmaceutical investment, and works to ensure that new anti-tuberculosis drugs remain accessible in the developing countries where the disease is most prevalent.
