TB REACH is a Stop TB Partnership initiative established in 2009, with founding support from Global Affairs Canada and later support from USAID and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, that funds projects to find and treat people with tuberculosis who would otherwise be missed by health systems. Through competitive funding rounds it awards grants for active case-finding and treatment-support projects, often built around community health workers, and has supported such projects in more than 30 countries; a single funding round has funded over 30 case-finding projects across 20 countries, with results measured against a common population-level indicator so outcomes can be compared across very different settings.
