The African Malaria Network Trust, known as AMANET, is a pan-African international non-governmental organization headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It was established in 2002, building on the African Malaria Vaccine Testing Network founded in 1995, with a mission to strengthen capacity and networking for malaria research and development across Africa. Its work centers on supporting malaria vaccine trials alongside research into antimalarial drugs and vector control, training African scientists, and building capacity in health research ethics. AMANET also hosts the secretariat of the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria.
