The Global Water Security and Sanitation Partnership (GWSP), previously known as the Water and Sanitation Program and administered by the World Bank since 1978, is a multi-donor trust fund geared at improving access to water and sanitation infrastructure in developing countries. It works through regional offices in Africa, East and South Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean, alongside a headquarters office in Washington, D.C., in more than twenty five countries, providing technical assistance, capacity building and research toward sustainable water security and sanitation solutions.
