The National Centre for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC) is Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population body for coordinating the national HIV and sexually transmitted disease response, based in Teku, Kathmandu. It leads preparation of Nepal's Country Progress Report for the Global AIDS Response Progress Reporting process, sets national antiretroviral therapy guidelines with weight-based dosing recommendations for adult and pediatric patients, and provides HIV testing and counseling services as the entry point for HIV care nationwide.
