After Dutch company DSM acquired Roche's vitamins business in 2003, Sight and Life broadened its focus from vitamin A alone to a wider range of micronutrient deficiencies affecting children and women of childbearing age, working alongside universities, United Nations agencies and other nongovernmental organizations.
