The Programme National de Lutte contre le Sida (PNLS) is the Democratic Republic of the Congo's national HIV/AIDS control program, operating under the Ministry of Health with the normative and regulatory authority to lead and coordinate the country's HIV/AIDS and STI response across its health zones. It organizes, reviews and validates national HIV/AIDS testing and surveillance data, and monitors the quality of rapid HIV tests administered at health facilities, working with international partners including the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to strengthen laboratory quality assurance and disease surveillance.
