Roll Back Malaria Partnership

A global public health partnership, launched in May 1998 by the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank, to coordinate the international response to malaria, with an original goal of halving malaria incidence and mortality by 2010. Rather than delivering care directly, the partnership works to catalyze funding and align the plans of its members, who by the 2020s numbered more than 500 organizations spanning community health worker groups, researchers, businesses and international agencies. The partnership was later renamed the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, reflecting its continuing role coordinating global malaria control and elimination efforts.
